Please read these rules as well as the information before signing up. This round is a free round, you can claim any movie or TV show you want to.





Guidelines


• Sign ups will be open for the duration of this round.
• You must be a member of LiveJournal and a member of the community to participate.
• Please do not post your icons to this post. Please make your own post and submit it to the community.
• No claim can be chosen more than two times.
• You can change your claim at any time.
• Posting is moderated, once your post is submitted please await approval. If your post has not yet been approved within 48 hours please contact me or comment here.




Show and Movie Guidelines


• Claims can only be claimed 3 times. This is for both movies and shows.
• NEW - You can now claim a character, group, certain characters or couples in a show or movie. You can do one character or however many you want from your claim, or just the whole movie and all characters. If you're unsure just ask.

Bold Colors - They don't have to be specifically vibrant, but there should be huge contrast between dark and light shades and the colors should be very "solid".
Animated - Your icon has to show any type of animation.
Profile + Vintage - Your subject should be in profile and colored in vintage colors.
Unnatural Bright Coloring - Your colors should be very bright, colorful and unnatural!
Anatomy - Put in your icon a stock texture with a part of the human anatomy like heart and bones.
Cold Colors - The dominant colors should be the cold ones.
From the Black - Your subject should literally come out from the black/shadows.
Citric - The main color(s) of your icon must be inspired by citric colors. Citrus colors are mostly bright oranges, yellows and greens.
Floating - For this icon there should be nothing but space around your character.
Film Poster - Make an icon using any film poster as inspiration. You don't have to replicate it exactly, you can draw inspiration for any part of the poster, whether is the colors, text or pictures. Let us know in your post which poster did you choose.
Recast - Chose another actor to play your character, you can use any pic you want either from photo shoots or another role of the chosen actor.
Nutmeg - Nutmeg is a deep, muted, rusty orange with a copper undertone.
Muted Color + Outdoor Scenery - Your icon must be muted in color, not just black and white, and depict your character ouside.
Squares - Your icon should contain at least one square that isn't the icon itself.
Vacation - Transport, via texture, your character to some place you have always wanted to visit.
Video Inspiration - You have to use the following video as inspiration for your icon. You can use any element of the video as inspiration.
