Please read these rules as well as the information before signing up. This round is a free round, you can claim any character from any movie, TV show, anime, ect you want to.

Guidelines

• Sign ups will be open for the duration of this round.
• You must be a member of LiveJournal and a member of the community to participate.
• Please do not post your icons to this post. Please make your own post and submit it to the community.
• No claim can be chosen more than two times.
• You can change your claim at any time.
• Posting is moderated, once your post is submitted please await approval. If your post has not yet been approved within 48 hours please contact me or comment here.

Show and Movie Guidelines

• Claims can only be claimed 3 times. This is for both movies and shows.
• For shows you can claim: The whole show, a season or a episode.
• For Movies you can claim: A franchise, one movie, one or a couple movies in a franchise.
• NEW - You can now claim a character, group, certain characters or couples in a show or movie. You can do one character or however many you want from your claim, or just the whole movie and all characters. If you're unsure just ask.

Can I claim a show and icon characters from that? I had a character in mind but she only showed up in 2 episodes so far, so I wanted to have more options. Id that's not okay I'll think of some other character.

Hi, of course. I do not mind. I should put that in the rules. As long as you are iconning a character or characters I'm totaly cool with it. n 'free rounds' it's a grab for all, so any characters are welcome. You can claim one or a franchise or show of one or many. Just since I started most only seem to claim one.

Thank oyu for asking, no one has asked that yet so I did not think to really add it in the rules aside from what I got already.

(5) CATEGORY: MONOCHROME - All icons must be monochrome, one color or shades of one color, and all icons must be different colors. So you will have 5 different colored monochrome icons.

(5) CATEGORY: Widely Used - There is a usually a cap within a fandom that has been iconed a lot. Find one for your character to icon and icon it in 5 different ways.

Empty Spaces - Negative space where at least 50% of the icon is just empty.
Together But Seperate - At least two people in closer crop but with negative space between them.
Floating In The Middle - Center crop but the subject must be floating in the middle of the icon, without touching the sides.
From The Back - Faceless crop, but the subject is iconned from the back or side.
Odd One Out - Very odd crop, that you wouldn't normally think of, focusing on gestures, body parts or clothing more than on a character's face.
Empty Seating - You must have a completley empty background - excluding text, decorative textures or furniture - and your character must be sitting down.
First & Last - You will use two caps here, one of your character's first appearance and the second of their last appearance thus far.
Duotone Background - The background of your icon must be two, and only two, different colors.
Decorative Texture - Use any texture you want as decoration on your icon.
Color Bomb - Your icon should be full of a lot of different colors.
Recycled - Use the same cap from any of the themes and make it into a different looking icon.
