Please read these rules as well as the information before signing up. This round is a free round, you can claim any movie or TV show you want to.





Guidelines


• Sign ups will be open for the duration of this round.
• You must be a member of LiveJournal and a member of the community to participate.
• Please do not post your icons to this post. Please make your own post and submit it to the community.
• No claim can be chosen more than two times.
• You can change your claim at any time.
• Posting is moderated, once your post is submitted please await approval. If your post has not yet been approved within 48 hours please contact me or comment here.




Show and Movie Guidelines


• Claims can only be claimed 3 times. This is for both movies and shows.
• For shows you can claim: The whole show, a season or a episode.
• For Movies you can claim: A franchise, one movie, one or a couple movies in a franchise.
• NEW - You can now claim a character, group, certain characters or couples in a show or movie. You can do one character or however many you want from your claim, or just the whole movie and all characters. If you're unsure just ask.

Where you will post your icons: At my graphics community candycorns.

Muted & vibrant blocking: Your icon should have at least 2 blocks and there should be at least one muted colored block and one vibrant blocks. You can have as many block as you want.
Empty Seating: You must have a completely empty background - excluding text, decorative textures or furniture - and your character must be sitting down.
Decorative texture: Use any texture you want as decoration on your icon.
Vibrant light: The icon itself doesn't necessarily have to be vibrant, it just has to make use of at least one vibrant shade of light.
Autumn outside: Your cap has to be outside and you can either choose a cap that has natural autumn coloring or color it yourself to fit the theme or even use a texture or stock background.
Obstructing: Your icon must have something obstructing the full view of your character's face. Whether it is in the cap, a texture, text, etc. is up to you. Creative crops will not count here.
Vibrant grunge: Your icon has to have a grungy look to it as well as be vibrantly colored.
Close and cool: Your icon should be closely cropped and make use of cooler coloring.
Recycled: Use the same cap from any of the themes and make it into a different looking icon.
Widely Used: There is a usually a cap within a fandom that has been iconed a lot. Find one for your character to icon.
Promo Pic: If your character isn't in any promo pictures then please use a promo pic from your show/movie.
Cityscape: Use a city type texture in your background or if you have a cap where your character is obviously in a city environment then you can use that.
Profile Behind: This icon will contain two parts. The background part will be your character's profile closely cropped and the foreground will be a smaller cut of your character or another character. The background must be your chosen character.
Brush Stroke: Your icon must have some sort of paint brush stroke on it.
Symbol: Icon something that is symbolic to your character.
CATEGORY: Extreme Facial Close Crop + Black & White: When I say extreme crop, I mean extreme. Your character's face should take up the majority of the icon and be entirely black and white. If you want to use a cap with your character and someone else then their faces must take up the majority of the icon.
CATEGORY: Character Arc: Choose a journey/transformation your character has at some point taken and use your 5 icons to tell that story from beginning to end. It can span a short journey or the span of the entire series/show/movie, it's your choice.
CATEGORY: One Color, Five Shades: All five icons must be the same color (color choice is up to you) but each icon must be a different shade of that color.
