Please read these rules as well as the information before signing up. This round is a free round, you can claim any movie or TV show you want to.





Guidelines


• Sign ups will be open for the duration of this round.
• You must be a member of LiveJournal and a member of the community to participate.
• Please do not post your icons to this post. Please make your own post and submit it to the community.
• No claim can be chosen more than two times.
• You can change your claim at any time.
• Posting is moderated, once your post is submitted please await approval. If your post has not yet been approved within 48 hours please contact me or comment here.




Show and Movie Guidelines


• Claims can only be claimed 3 times. This is for both movies and shows.
• For shows you can claim: The whole show, a season or a episode.
• For Movies you can claim: A franchise, one movie, one or a couple movies in a franchise.
• NEW - You can now claim a character, group, certain characters or couples in a show or movie. You can do one character or however many you want from your claim, or just the whole movie and all characters. If you're unsure just ask.

I usually go through iconpraise and monthlyinspo posts for examples. Doesn't take me long.

Same, except iconpraise I guess I should start looking in there lol. monthlyinspo and inspired on LJ are really good one's, so is pirates20in20 to find examples.

Never heard of it, had to look it up. But since I'm not one for anime, figures I never heard of it lol.

Do you have an icon examples for inverted? Or is it like the defintion: placed or lying upside down or in the opposite position, order, or arrangement from usual?

Are the first one for inverted? I'm a bit confused on how to word the definition prompt for it. Not sure how to do color inversion or what opposite positions means for a icon. Trying to find 2 more examples.

No worries! Now I know how to do it, my PSP does that, but their called different things lol. I was so lost, like huh? I made two more examples for the prompt, I like to at least have 3 for people to look at. Thank you. :)

Suggestions (optional): Full body crop, body part, decorated, science, boxed in, covered in text, sitting, sad, light blue, blended and mixed, plus two, close and far, outlined, peach, empty spaces, out of the picture, center but not quite, odd one out, happy, floating in the middle.
Category - One Source.
Where you will post your icons: My graphics community sweettreats.

Decorated - There must be a visible decorative texture in the icon.
Boxed In - Icon within an icon. The subject needs to be boxed in a shape.
Covered In Text - The subject of your icon needs to be covered in text - it doesn't have to be readable.
Blended and Mixed - Blend / mix different pictures in one icon.
Close and Far - Close and far crop in one icon.
Outlined - There needs to be visible outline of your subject.
Empty Spaces - Negative space where at least 50% of the icon is just empty.
Out of The Picture - Close crop with the subject cropped out of the icon in some part.
Center But Not Quite - Classic center crop, but the subject can't look straight ahead.
Odd One Out - Very odd crop, that you wouldn't normally think of, focusing on gestures, body parts or clothing more than on a character's face.
Floating in The Middle - Center crop but the subject must be floating in the middle of the icon, without touching the sides.

Category - One Source: Use one cap/photo to make up to 5 icons. It's all about squeezing it all out from one screencap or photo. Make at least 5 icons from the same source, but still making them a bit different.
